I have been trying to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt for the 8 years we have owned a VW. The sales folks are great- this is purely for the service department. They shouldn’t be trusted with drivers licenses, let alone to perform work on vehicles. We have had so many issues with having our Atlas in to VW St John’s for service, only to find out the service wasn’t completed or something was missed. From the first steps in the door to the final inspection VW St.johns was my most enjoyable auto purchase I ever had. Adam day was friendly, enthusiastic and just a great person to deal with. He was Knowledgable and made sure that I was 100% made aware of all of my new vehicles systems and functions. He certified went above and beyond for me.
Avoid Volkswagen St. John's. The Tiguan will have you replacing the rotors and brakes when you hit the 40,000km mark. Windshield wipers will run you $112.00 or so (good thing they install for free). The depreciation value is ridiculous. A two and half year old Tiguan is only worth $21,000. Poor resale value or the dealership is low balling you; thought they were different when we bought the vehicle but turns out they are just as bad as some others.
