Initial visit for trans fluid change $700. Noticed an undercarriage rattle on the drive home. Requested they check for anything loose. They decided to do a diagnostic on the transmission and charged $200+ without notifying me or actually fixing anything. Of course the trans "needs to be replaced" estimate, $10,000. Took the car to another V W service agency. There analysis was "There is nothing wrong with the transmission". Car drives and shifts fine. Draw your own conclusion. Dick Hannah Vancouver.
I prefer to have my car serviced at the dealership. Even though Brad is now 15 he deserves the best. So we come here every year, this was the 80k tune up. As always the waiting area is clean, snacks provided with beverages. And no surprises at the end.
Everyone I’ve worked with is kind and competent. It never feels good to spend money on unfun things but they make the unavoidable a bit more bearable. I have also found their pricing to be competitive. I usually think of dealerships as inflated but it seems pretty on par, making the great service stand out.
