My experience with VW of Waco was extremely disappointing. While traveling home to Houston from Dallas with my family, a tire blowout from a wrecker in the lane next to us sent debris flying into our vehicle and completely shattered the windshield of our VW Atlas. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after repeated issues, I feel it’s important to share my experience with the service department at Volkswagen of Waco. We have purchased two vehicles through this dealership simply because we like the SUV, not because of the experience. Both sales and service have been consistently disappointing. My Atlas was telling me to check the coolant level, which didn't seem low. The problem was not mechanical. An update to its electronic brain was past due. I am the second owner, and the dealer I recently purchased the car from was not VW. The techs here solved the issue, and all systems are functioning well. The cost was less than I anticipated.
