Brought out 2013 VW Passat here for oil changes previously. We had previously received mail and calls about them wanting to buy the car from us at least 2 times. The last time we did we were told we had to replace control arms or we wouldn’t be able to leave. We agreed and completed the service. So I bought a vintage Audi TT roadster from a dealership in Illinois. I suspected it would need the timing chains replaced and had been looking for a mechanic I could trust to do the work. Turns out it also needed a battery (among other things). The only place near me that had the correct battery in stock was Volkswagen of Lee's Summit. I am an ASE master technician and parts specialist and I suggest going to a different VW dealership. I've bought 2 cars from here and I regret it. I will never go here again. Warranty work takes weeks and they are always OuT Of COuRTeSy CaRs. Last visit I made an appointment, and they made me sit for 6 hours waiting for my car to be looked at. It was NEVER looked at. Oil changes and service take ridiculous amount of time. It's disrespectful af. I go to Jim Machens in Columbia now.
