Adding to the long list of reviews of 1 star or less. Service Manager, Service staff get a minus from me. My car had been religiously serviced at Moss Vale Service Centre since purchase. In Jan. it was passed as roadworthy for rego. Ha, so much for that. I had to have it towed back a couple of weeks later as it wouldn't start and didn't sound good (NRMA) and there were electrical issues that they were aware of. If i can give negative 5 star i will give them because of worst customer service and my experience with car services I gave my car for service they charged more than other VW dealers and istead of fixing my car they break my interior dome lights and blame me for that which were working night before i dropped Not only this my car was leaking for the shark fin antenna week ago because of heavy rain which we can see bubbles were forming underneath and they refuse to fix them too as it can be done under warranty The lady on phon... read more
I have NEVER had success with this place .. I have been given the run around when trying to make appointments for recall work to be done, I have come up against unnecessary complications when trying to purchase a part for my vehicle and I highly recommend that who ever reads this try somewhere else .. Anywhere else in fact if you expect any kind of co-operation and success.
‘New’ spare part ordered from VW Moss Vale, part arrived late and rusted. Unhelpful parts department ‘explaining’ how the part should work fine even if rusty. Advised of a long process if I wished to return the part for review/replacement and would be charged freight to return the part to their wholesaler. What about, ‘yep it’s rusty, sorry about that, we’ll order you a new one….??’ problem solved, happy customer…
Terrible service. A repair that I was told would take 7-10 days took 3 weeks - a long time to be without a car! I understand that parts from overseas can take longer than expected, but they could at least let you know what’s going on. It was impossible to get thru to the service dept & the many times I left a message with reception I was never called back.Shocking service - never again! This department should be renamed the Lack of Service Department!
