Volkswagen Canada has the worst customer service ever!! I wish I could give them zero. Do not buy a Volkswagen. I have been to multiple Volkswagen’s in the area and no one has done anything to support me. I bought this brand new 2025 Tiguan with only 8 km on it at the time I’ve had it for five months and it has been in the dealership more than five occasion. This company is not to be trusted. Their dealership employees are very poorly trained and no longer qualified to work on their 11-year-old TDIs. They have even discontinued the coolant for my car at the dealership. I thought Volkswagen was the force to support vehicles affected by diesel gate for the duration of the ownership. This company used to have 12-year corrosion warranties and now they're corrosion warranties are only 7 years. That should tell you everything you need to know. Do not buy a Volkswagen.
Would never buy another VW This is a warning to all consumers: They don’t stand by their corrosion warranty My low mileage car started bubbling and peeling. I was told by an autobody shop that VW uses a spongy material behind their wheel fenders etc which over time absorbs water and causes the bubbling and rust. (You can google this) VW denied my corrosion claim. They expect the consumer to pay for rust caused by the way they build their cars. Absolutely unacceptable experience with Volkswagen Canada. Bought a brand new 2025 Tiguan R-Line Black and spent 12 weeks in a loaner due to a major mechanical failure, including a terrifying highway shutdown with a “no driver detected” warning while my child was in the car. After a long, poorly handled buyback process, I received a 2026 Tiguan - only for it to break down immediately, leading to another 7 weeks without my fully paid vehicle and confirmed engine damage.
