Been trying to fix my parents washer for 2years and can't do it.
So I have never bought nor even been in Volkmann Appliance Inc. In Winona. We were having trouble with our wash machine. I’ve had been trying to do what I could do with my limited knowledge of laundry appliances to know avail. So my wife suggested I call Volkmanns , so reluctantly I called to see if they would come to Wisconsin for a service call. Not only were they happy to come to Wisconsin, their service dept. Paid cash for a new refrigerator on June 24th. July 20 we are told it is in... But cannot be delivered until August 8th. What? I called back to hear quite a few excuses including "no one wants to work any more" in response to me telling her to hire more delivery people. 10 minutes later my wife gets a call and is told "we have a cacellation tomorrow." A customer should not have to advocate for themselves this adamantly in a small hometown store. I only expect that from a box store.

Super friendly, helpful staff! We will be purchasing more appliances from them! Don't assume you can get a better deal from a big box store.
I have had wonderful experiences here. Before I finally choose a washing machine and dryer, I went there several times. They were always patient and knowledgeable and explained all the options. Additionally, the service department has helped numerous times with appliances in my rental properties. Again, they are always helpful and are willing to go the extra mile to get the right information. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
