Our experience was not good at the Durham building, today is 9/17/20, i brought my wife to see Dr volentine and because of covid they wouldn't let me go in with her as her care giver, in which I am her care giver. We had almost 2hrs to drive and didn't know I couldn't go with her until we checked. This was a hardship for my wife, she doesnt go anywhere without me, due to medical issues. Max Shafer III
He is the most harsh, lacking compassion, rude dr I have met in many many years. He may be smart but since he ridiculed us and didn’t stay in the room long enough to listen to a word we said I am unable to verify that. Even though we requested another GI Dr UNMC refused to allow us to see another one. Positive experiences with all other specialties but this one. See him at your own risk.
Dr. Volentine has been very professional and very good GI specialist who has being very caring and patience with me
