Do yourself a favor and stay here several nights! This was such a pleasant surprise. The cottage is impeccably decorated in teapots and very clean and relaxing. There is juice, water, yogurt, papaya, eggs,bagels, sausages stock every day. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a luxurious stay in the mountains. There is no heat and it does get cold at night so bundle up! We wish we could have the stayed longer. The hotels in Hilo were terrible. The most delightful overnight accommodations we’ve ever experienced! The cottage was so quaint with thoughtful touches throughout. Loved the decor- and the grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We didn’t want to leave! The perfect location for visiting Volcanoes National Park. We were 5 minutes from the entrance and arrived before the crowds built up. The nearby winery was a fun stop also. Bill was so helpful-and the provided breakfast food exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!
Bill is a responsive host, gifted furniture builder and true good heart. He has crafted incredible furniture for this homey, lovingly maintained cottage. It's surrounded by a tropical garden and happy birds! I found this spacious rental on Tripadvisor, where there are over 300 positive reviews.

Volcano Teapot Cottage is by far one of my favorite stays, ever. Our hosts were absolutely phenomenal. We were warmly welcomed upon entering this magical and cozy cottage. We received great recommendations, had every amenity one could ever wish for, a freshly stocked fridge, freshly baked goods every morning for us, and of course delicious teas.
