Just back from a WONDERFUL meal/evening at Volare's in Rutherford. Went for our annual holiday friendship celebration since wanted to try a new place. We all LOVED IT; the food, the atmosphere, the service - all A+. Andy and Daniel were wonderful and the food - ah, the food - every person LOVED their meals; the appetizers were wonderful, the main courses were spectacular and the desserts (cheesecake and poached pear) were fantastic. Just delicious! Amazing atmosphere. And wonderful staff! My husband and I decided to finally visit Volares, after driving past it 100 times, and we were NOT disappointed. Even our little one enjoyed the food! Best artichoke appetizer I've ever tried. My husband insisted on having the Ossbuco put on the menu all the time (it was on the special of the day, so he got lucky!). And we all loved the cheesecake. Spectacular!! We look forward to our next meal here.
My friend introduced me to this place, and it was nothing short of amazing. I had to drive a little under an hour to come here so I had high expectations, but Volares met them all. Service was amazing, efficient and kind servers. Calamari was perfectly made light and fresh, how it is supposed to be made. Not the over fried and over breaded crap at other places.
