Excellent food with very personalized service!
A mother, father, and son run the restaurant together, and you can feel it in the service. It's warm, attentive, and personal, never rushed and never hovering. They guided us through the menu and made us feel like regulars on our first visit. The food was exceptional. The foie gras was rich and silky, and the vichyssoise was incredible, smooth and perfectly seasoned. Outstanding food, presentation excellence, service beyond compare. Our favorite authentic french restaurant! Escargot was tender, however, needed more garlic, too much parsley which gave it a bitter note. I rated only 3 star for atmosphere only because, the lights are way too. It would have felt more intimate and elegant if the lights were dimmed a bit.
Stumbled upon this super cute place run by French couple. Food is on point! I had the escargot, which were delicious and the coq au vin. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, with the sauce exactly the slightly tart tang it's supposed to have as opposed to the too-sweet Americanized version. The St. Honore desert was out-of-this-world good. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.
Absolutely delightful restaurant. This gem of a French Bistro hiding out in sleepy area of Scottsdale will wow your tastebuds and feed your soul for high-art dining, without the stuffy nonsense of a more contentious establishment. Feel comfortable here with collared shirt and shorts, and while this place is 100% French Cuisine, the portions are very Americanized.
