What an amazing and kind establishment! My father had a medical emergency while on our trip through Nova Scotia. At the same exact time my glasses had broken and I needed a quick fix or I wouldn't have been able to drive him back to the airport after his surgery. Amanda Barrett at the front desk was so incredibly kind and took care of me. She took my glasses to the back and fixed them for me completely free of charge. I visited to look for glasses and spent about 10 minutes trying on several pairs. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged me or offered any assistance during that time. The staff were gathered at a desk in the middle of the store chatting with each other, which made it feel a bit unwelcoming. I think a simple greeting or checking in with customers would make a big difference in the overall experience. The selection looked great, but better customer service would really improve things 🤓
I was a Vogue Optical customer for years. I get my eye exams there and buy my glasses there too! I recently however ordered a pair online. They arrived and were a bit big. I went into their store and politely asked if they wouldn't mind adjusting them to fit my face. They refused because I didn't buy them there. I even offered to pay them for the service! They still said no. It's not like they were busy either. Thumbs down.
Great place, friendly staff that go above and beyond.
