I did a 1.5 mile loop hike. I was the only one there. It is really pretty. I had to rush back due to lightning. I wish I could have spent more time exploring and enjoying the scenery.
I love it out here. Such rich history. We come out for the tarantula "migration" every year. Old colonial house ruins, petroglyphs, dino tracks, tarantulas, rattlesnakes, box turtles, amazing sunsets, weird bugs. Such an under-rated area.
Nice place and there is dispersed camping.
