Nobody could be more scared to have a Talonavicular joint fusion in my foot than me (I was def crying and fearful in the pre-op room!!). I went in for a consultation with Dr. Voellmicke after several months of struggling with severe bilateral foot/ankle pain. My deepest gratitude to Dr. Voellmicke for performing neuroma removal surgery on my foot 2 years ago. I went to several doctors at HSS and Columbia in NYC all of whom either told me it was my imagination and there was nothing wrong with me, or that I needed more steroid injections because neuroma surgery was too complicated or drastic a solution.
