Picked up Vocelli pizza from the Edgewater location this past Saturday night. Pizza was hot and very good quality (1 peperoni, 1 hamburger & onion), service was friendly and on time (20 minutes). Five stars! Update Sept 2025 - Vocelli’s take out pizza tonight, ordered plain cheese and a meat lovers. Both were great, from the crust to the sauce and cheese, to the fresh and very generous toppings, just excellent pizza. My photo could be better but if you focus on the slice, you can see the quality. Five stars all day.
What a terrible experience ordering delivery here. We have ordered before and always recommended to our friends however, after our experience today, I'm not sure we'll order from here again. *Let me preface with saying that we knew ordering pizza on a Friday evening wouldn't be a quick delivery. We were not expecting a miracle* Placed our order at 6:03p and got an email confirmation saying to expect our order within 45-55 minutes. Again, this was fine. The service was good, not too long of a wait. Probably a 15 minute wait time depending on what you get. I had gotten the pineapple pizza which was really good, the sauce of the pizza was really good. The pineapples make the taste of the pizza so much better. Chicken pesto wasn't bad at all, definitely would get again.
I’ve been meaning to write a glowing review about the pizza at Vocelli’s for a while. Never enough time.Tonight we got their pizza and once again it was excellent. One meat lovers (i.e. the artisan “meat magnifico”) and one plain cheese - two ends of the pizza spectrum and both really good. Out of towns friends have told us the same thing, the pizza is really delicious. Five stars all day!
