Similar to other reviews, I feel compelled to warn people that this office is masterful at pushing unnecessary procedures to bill your insurance! Had a bad experience last year with them performing an unnecessary filling for a cavity that didn't even exist, without my consent, and injecting the anesthesia without giving me any time to object or ask questions - as I have no history of cavities and excellent oral health.
I saw VMC Group dentists at the Brooklyn and Park Slope offices. My experience with VMC Dental was deeply troubling and I feel compelled to warn others. I initially visited for a root canal on an infected, fractured molar as recommended by my regular dentist. However, without my written consent, they performed an additional, unnecessary root canal on an upper tooth that had no issues. Went in for a checkup and cleaning, the staff was very communicative and pleasant. Minimal wait time, and the doctor was very informative and considerate during the procedure.
