We hired VLS Electrical to do a job. We stressed that we needed to keep costs down. He stated he understood and gave us a quote of $1,200 to $1,500, stating $1,500 would be the max. He scheduled a day to do the work but canceled due to an employee not being able to join him. He rescheduled for the following day. I was fine with that. The issue comes into play when he finished the job and stated we owe him $2,200. That is $700 more than what he told us the max would be.
