As a black woman with a black husband and child, we felt very uncomfortable with comments made about our newborn daughter's hair being a wig. Completely inappropriate. I also had to undergo emergency surgery because of him. He made fun of me when I was in extreme pain in his office, i was on the verge of passing out and throwing up. He placed my IUD wrong and it perforated my uterus. He was rough during physical examinations as well.
If I could give a rating of less than 1 star I would. Dr. L is not only a misgonyst, he also is deeply disgusting and violated his patients rights multiple times. He began by removing the covering over his patients vagina and proceeding to stare at her without a female chaperone present. He then proceeded to comment on her attractiveness. Later he told her she shouldn't be training, and should instead take up ballroom dancing, because her main track in life is to become a mother and she wouldn't want to injure herself. My issues are as follows with this doctor - and I WOULD NOT recommend him because: Edit/Add; he currently has an open investigation pending through the district attorney’s office for false advertising/misleading patients about having his rights to deliver/work at local hospitals being taken away. 1. This doctor told me that I didn’t need to continue to take prenatals after two months of being pregnant. Red flag #1. 2. He is not gentle with the ultrasound wand that goes into you or on your belly.
