The BEST place to get married A little more pricey than some other wedding sites in the area but well worth the money. The location is absolutely beautiful, the food was great and the staff went out of their way to make sure my wedding day went exactly as I wanted. It has been years and I am still hearing from family and friends how wonderful it was.
Vizcaya This is a very beautiful hotel. This place is in a good location, close to the State Capitol. The rooms are truly beautiful. Most of the staff here were pretty friendly and made my stay more enjoyable. The room was clean and neat. It wasn't over the top, but it was definitely sufficient.
Pretty weddings, but expensive I've been to several weddings here. They were all beautiful, and the food was perfect, but I've heard several couples say it was quite expensive. Still, it's your wedding, you're only going to do it once, right?
Marriage only lasted three years. At Vizcaya pricing, that's $8,000 a year I remember on my wedding night, wondering where the heck all of those appetizers I bought had gone. Make sure you read the contract very carefully, it's hopefully the last $25,000 party you'll every throw yourself. The staff who actually serve at the reception are terrific, but the business people are really pushy and like to pressure you into spending a ton by working the bride up against the groom.
