Took months to get a replacement shutter. It was supposed to be fired brick which is a dark red/burgundy color. The shutter we received was a cross between Tennessee volunteer and Texas Longhorn orange. As much as we paid, as long as it took to get it and the solution to fix it was for me to take it to a shop locally to have it repainted. We are thrilled with our custom shutters from Vixen Hill. Andrea was great to work with and very patient as we navigated getting the right shutters for our home. They were just hung and we are thrilled with the results. Our stone home never looked so beautiful.

I ordered Vixen Hill shutters to replace severely worn ones on our 1929 home close to sea (and weather) in Maine. I selected Vixen Hill on the recommendation of a builder who has used them in the past. The shutters are excellent, very strong and well-constructed. They are now attached and look great. We did have one misunderstanding during the estimate process but the disagreement was quickly resolved in our favor.
I had a 2 PM interview. I’m driving there last minute. They don’t call me. They email me. I just happen to check my email. They tell me not to bother. They just hired there last interviewer who I assume was at 1 o’clock or so. Very unprofessional and irresponsible just figured I’d put that out there still have the message to prove it. Wanted people to see this company makes a lot of money, but clearly doesn’t care about people that are less than them.
