Came to solicit at our door at 8 pm when I was trying to get my baby to sleep. We had zero lights on outside and they came to give us scary examples in the dark. Gave me home alone vibes and I’m thankful my husband dealt with it and not myself— because mom bear was going to roar for waking up the toddler.
They do not care about their customers. They just want money.
I have had 2 visits at home in 6 months with guys trying to sell me a system. Last I checked, no means no. Offering opinions about my needs (giving “scary” examples of why I need their product both visits) with every “no but thank you” was pointless. Stating opinions as though they are facts is a manipulation tactic in sales and politics. Steer clear. Terrible customer service. Imagine if your cable or utility company wanted to charge you extra every time your cable or power went out. That's exactly what you get with Vivint. The Vivint system false-alarms constantly and Vivint wants to charge extra for a technician to come out to make it work propely. We were under the impression that that's what the high monthly fee was for. This appears to be a systemic or cultural problem at Vivint. Worst company I have ever dealt with in 30 yrs of Alarm systems. After a few years your system is out-of-date, so now you have to pay for another system after you have paid for the one you already have. Then when you cancel even if you paid your bill 2 weeks ago, it takes 30 for cancelation, so you will be charged again regardless. I Advise NEVER get this alarm system.
