I would not recommend listening to these technicians. We have spend 1/3 of our previous annual electric bill in just one month with the upgrades they recommended. Absolute BS would not recommend.
I worked with Brittain Bowring from Sunrun, who spec’d out a solar system for me and reviewed my PG&E bill. When Brittain went over my bill, he repeatedly stated that I pay a NEM charge of $1,592 plus an energy charge of $780, bringing my annual total to $2,372. This is incorrect. You don’t add the NEM charge and the energy charge together in all situations. They are only added together if the NEM charge is less than the energy charge.
