BEWARE sunrun is the worst company to work with. Got a new roof and it took them a year to re install the panels. Then they ruin the shingles and drop something on my parents glass patio table! They fixed the shingles and said they were going to replace the table and they have not. Call after call and no call back. Now the roof is leaking at the screws that they put on the roof. TERRIBLE!!! They're supposed to call me today and nothing let's see.
Essentially a multi level marketing scheme pretending to be a solar company. They are going to try to pressure you into signing the first time they talk to you. Do not sign anything until you have gotten a second appraisal from another company. There are several local companies that offer cheaper installation with better reviews and a more reputable business model. Ideally, don't even give them your number in the first place. I need a new roof so I need panels of temporary but someone in the company canceled my request. I talk to multiple people I'm getting the run around its been months I can not schedule the roofer until panels are off. Terrible customer service will not recommend!
This company is completely incompetent. I sold my home over 6 years ago. I've signed forms and requested that my name be removed from the account several times and I'm still getting service calls. They called me again today to "assist" me in transferring the account to the current homeowner and thanked me for calling them. I told them I didn't call them, they called me and I don't need assistance, they need to do their job. They said they weren't privy to previous attempts to transfer the account.
