Review – Vivint Smart Home I’m leaving this review after going through the process of trying to close my Vivint account. The service itself works, but the cancellation process is extremely bureaucratic and unnecessarily complicated. Even after selling the home, moving to another country, and explaining all of this multiple times, they require redundant steps, multiple case numbers, and insist on phone calls that are impossible to make from abroad. Couldn't be worse. Run!
What a joke dealt with them for 5 years. That company has gone to shit! Telus owes them. Went to cancel my account the employee told me I had a balance of over $600.00 cause my credit card changed. They never called me to tell me that I wasn’t paying. Was on hold for over 3 hours paid the balance then guy said it was cancelled ended up getting disconnected from the called then called back waited for a callback no callback. Havent had any issues in the last 6-7 years of having a vivint system. really bummed they sold to telus. want to get additonal equipment but telus will only come if i get a whole new system with them and their equipment/app sucks in comparison
Was very happy with Vivent home security and very sad when they sold out to Telus in fall of 2022
