Same story as many, things were going well until they were not. Tried to cancel service, they didn't cancel it and billed me for 6 more months and never told me until they sent me a letter.
Don’t buy into the security company I spent $6000 on equipment and over the past year and a half. It always goes off-line or the equipment goes out. It’s not something that will protect your home and when I try to contact the company to cancel, they made it impossible to cancel my service so now I just have to go through with my bank to cancel it on the bank side
Atrocious customer experience - My husband and I have been customers since 2019. Recently, for the past 4 months, our Vivint System has been temperamental, not working, and on-and-off locking us out of our home. We have spoken with Vivint customer service reps and managers on the phone 5+ times, and they've scheduled 3 appointments to come out to our residence. Vivint has been terrible from the start. Half the time our cameras don’t work, and when they do, the response time is so slow they’re practically useless — and that’s with 1 gigabit internet and three hubs. I’m switching back to ADT. They may cost a bit more, but at least their system works. I tried to save money, and the Vivint sales rep swore they were “the best.” That was a lie. I should never have left ADT. In July I moved from Eagan to Apple Valley. Before the move, I called to cancel my account — instead, your rep convinced me to transfer my service with the promise of all new equipment AND one year of free service, no contract. I asked multiple times for clarity, and it was confirmed.
