Waste of money. It never connected to our home internet- even though everything else in our home did. We had to move- they would not help us move their equipment because it was outdated so we tried to take it out without damaging it. That didn't work. So it sits in our new place in the garage while we still have to pay for the service we can't use and the equipment we can't use. •Predatory sales reps. •Intentionally difficult cancelation process. •Mediocre products and services. •Overpriced equipment. Our experience with Vivint was bad overall. We had a door to door sales rep show up at our house at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday night. He talked to us for a little over an hour about a seemingly decent service, and offered us free installation so long as we "were flexible about scheduling" because they had people doing installations in the area. Terrible customer service! Scheduled an appointment window for 8am -12pm for today only to have nobody show up. I called Vivint directly to find out when the service tech would be arriving at 1230pm or just give me a window or best guess as to when they would be coming and I get told your appointment can't be done today and needs to be rescheduled. Nobody called me to tell me it needed to be rescheduled or that it was canceled for the day so I could go about my day and back to work. Instead I get nothing in return and a full... read more
