If you are debating pelvic floor therapy, let this be your sign to do it- and go to Vivid! I started going second trimester to prepare for birth. I worked with Dr. Michelle Poulopoulos who was my savior! With her help I eliminated my hip and back pain during pregnancy. We also focused a lot on birth prep, which I cannot recommend enough. When I gave birth I pushed for a significant amount of time. I did pelvic floor therapy with Julie Yunaska, PT, MSPT after experiencing more increased postpartum symptoms. Julie was amazing!! She took the time to listen to me and actually hear me, she carefully reviewed my history, symptoms, and overall well being, rather than just focusing on my pelvic floor “issues.” Over the course of about 2 months, Julie worked with me and put together several different exercise to help me repair my pelvic floor.
