I work with children through adulthood, the entire lifespan, on issues around anxiety, depression, adjustment, family conflict, behavior, stress, and trauma. I have office hours on Tuesday and Thursday at Chesapeake Mental Health Collaborative and offer teletherapy on Mondays and Wednesdays. I offer a client centered, holistic, and strength based approach. I utilize play therapy, sand tray therapy, family systems, mindfulness, brain based and trauma informed activities to meet client needs.

Vivian was extremely helpful during a time when I really needed extra support and guidance. After many, many sessions, I felt comfortable and confident enough with my new strategies to navigate issues on my own. I do know that if I needed, I could certainly reach out to Vivian and continue with her.

I can't even begin to say enough about Vivian. I am fortunate enough to consider her a mentor and colleague. I am blown away by her compassion, perspective, creativity in approaches and ability to connect with the children and families she helps. There is no question that her entire heart is in her work and she is living out her purpose. Vivian brings light and cheer to her sessions. She's so warm and positive with practical tools to help her clients get through dark times and feel better about themselves.
As a clinician, I feel so fortunate to be able to refer families to Vivian! I know that they will be met with a warm smile and effective strategies presented by a master therapist. I can't recommend her highly enough. I would send my own children to work with Vivian without reservation. She is a gift to the field of family therapy.
