Does not handle difficult cases. Very confident pre-op, ran into problems and refuses to attempt fixing it. I like him at first but now I feel totally abandoned.
Was referred to this physician . First time here was greeted by a nice front desk worker. Waited maybe 10minutes was called by a young man who took vitals while in conversation advised same of wanting to see physician alone for consultation. Message was related to Dr V Prachand who entered room with a medical student/physician in training in a aggressive manner and started lecturing me the patient that he works with a team disregard the desire of my request. Brilliant surgeon. He's performed two surgeries for me, and one wasn't really a walk in the park from what I understand. I was extremely high-risk to boot due to a medical emergency that deeply confounded things. I trust Dr. Prachand & co. and will continue to recommend him. His bedside manner is lovely as well. Dr. PRACHAND performed my surgery in 2009, I started off 349lbs. I'm 210lbs. I have no health issues. He's a great surgeon and works with a great team. Thank you for these wonderful 10yrs!
