I have had AFIB for some years now. My doctor at Kaiser Hospital just kept telling me that I had AFIB but never did anything about it. It was like they were telling me that I had dandruff, maybe unsightly, but no big deal. I had a heart attack in 2022 due to AFIB. I had just changed medical plans fortunately, and they saved me. Two weeks ago I had a Watchman put into my left atrial appendage in my heart at Marin General Hospital by Dr. Iyer and his team. He did a cardiac ablation for me last summer that was very successful, stopping my A Fib. Once again, he did a great job. He was able to send me home the same day, which made it even better. Second, while I had some pain in my throat after the ablation due to tubes put down my throat, this time I woke up with no pain in my throat or anywhere.
