Nonya This place is nice and quiet with a wonderful atmosphere. The dinner menu is quite good, but a little expensive. I would recommend coming in for lunch. The have great lunch specials for about 7 bucks. I've always been seated quickly, but it seems to take a while for the food to come out.
Pumpkin Great restaurant in Old Town Pasadena that seems to have plenty of space and is not too crowded. The interior is quite nice and the food never disappoints. They are one of those rare restaurants that do great things with pumpkin in their veggie dishes.
Excellent food, relaxing decor I've been to Nonya three times - twice for lunch, once for dinner. One was with friend, one with family (including kids) and one was an office function. Each time the service and food were impeccable, and everyone cleared their plates. The food is a mixture of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine, so it's slightly spicy and tangy - very unique, and incredibly yummy. If I could give this 4.5 stars, I would.
Been here for lunch, and they have pretty good specials. You can choose the crispy duck salad (normally a pricey dish in itself) with your meal, and it's very tasty. The ambience is nice as well.
I like the ambiance of this place. Their service is attentive and their lunch specials are great. You get the choice of one appetizer or salad plus an entree for $10. Not bad considering the selection they give you. Try their crispy duck salad.
I highly recommend this restaurant for both a business meeting or a relaxing lunch with friends. The atmosphere is relaxing; you can talk without having to hear the conversation at the next table. The decor is attractive and subtle. The entrees, especially the soups, are delicious and filling. Both vegetarians and non-vegetarians will find an appealing entree at this restaurant. Reservations are not needed for lunch unless for a party of 6 or more.
I really like this place - good food, cool classy decor, good service, and not too crowded. It's off the main drag (Colorado Blvd), so it still seems to be a bit of a hidden gym. Their food is sort of an Asian-California fusion. I love their Peking duck - delicious. The decor is a modern Asian theme, and it just makes dinner more interesting (including a fountain when you walk in). I have never had to wait for a table. Great place to take a date.
