First time trying Vito’s sandwich shop. I’ve heard great things, and have read mixed reviews. The young girl at the register was really friendly, and the deli itself appeared very clean. We ate at the outdoor picnic table, which was nicely set on the side of the entrance at the corner of the block. Before ordering, the cashier did let us know that they had only seeded bread left, which would’ve been fine but it was very thick and hard to eat. High quality ingredients, delicious sandwiches
I have been to many great sandwich spots in NJ and NYC throughout my life , just wanted to write that Vito’s 12th street special and Maggie sandwich are some of the best 2 sandwiches ive ever had. Definitely recommend this place to anyone, specifically those 2 subs. Great service as well
Just went to pick up an Italian sun. Meat was delicious but the bread stale. Couldn’t even but it. Had to transfer it to another roll I had at home. Geez st least have fresh bread for the prices you charge!
We recently ordered from Vito’s Sandwiches and had 3 sandwiches total. Overall, there were a lot of positives, but one major downside impacted the experience. The “bones” of the sandwiches were genuinely excellent. The ingredients were fresh, well-portioned, and clearly high quality.
