I was referred to Dr Vernenkar because of severe abdominal pain & an ultrasound that revealed I had gallstones & I was recommended by my GI to consult with a surgeon to have my gallbladder removed. He told me that he would not remove my gallbladder until my symptoms worsened. I asked him if this was a condition he expected could improve & he told me it would not. Dr vernenkar will always hold a special place in my heart he removed my gallbladder for me .. I had a preoperative appt with him scheduled for March first and literally cried because I felt like I cut into his already busy schedule.. Dr vernenkar explained I didn't have to apologize and that he just wants to get me feeling better 😌 to say he made me feel calm before my surgery is a huge understatement him and his anesthesiologist made me feel extremely comfortable with undergoing the surgery and the nurses where phenomenal ... read more
Dr. Vernankar and his staff are amazing. They are knowledgeable and went above and beyond my expectations. The intake process was efficient to say the least! They explaned everything in detail. Offered me Post-Op pain management solutions, as Im a recovered opiate addict and elected to not use any narcotics for pain relief. He introduced me to the On-Q Pain Ball which is non narcotic.
