Posting for my mother : If I could vitas 0 stars I would , vitas promised 24 hour nursing care would be available when needed , the nurse assigned to us was incompetent, she would be confused on dates for visiting , or didn’t bother showing up at all . I called vitas for an emergency visit and was told no one was available, and no one called to check on him during that time I called a different hospice and had a nurse from st.Francis at our home with in 45 min for said emergency. From beginning to end, I cannot say enough about Vitas for palliative & end of life care. The facility at Rockledge is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. The staff are caring and professional. Thank you for helping me, my Dad and family through a very difficult time.

If I could give Vitas more than 5 stars I would. Because there are absolutely no words that can cover the love and care my husband received during his last days at the Vitas Inpatient Unit in Rockledge Florida. The Hospice Care Center is immaculate. The rooms are private and very pleasant. Staying in the room overnight with your loved one is welcomed and comfortable. There are many beautiful and comfortable seating areas throughout the unit. The kitchenette is well stocked with coffee, tea and snacks. Most of all the nurses ... read more
