Vitas Dayton, OH Due to inconsistent availability and lack of communication I cannot recommend this company. Some services were good but fail in nursing and aides available. We had to find another and on day of discharge they take away my mothers walker without notification to get her a replacement before they took it? Medicare was certainly billed for it and the driver they paid to pick it up probably cost more than the walker was worth. Highly questionable and frankly absurd they would do this.
I could not have been more pleased with VITAS Healthcare for my father. The staff were very caring, thoughtful, communicative, and kind. Wonderful support during a difficult time.
