I am done making excuses for this company as I have every step of the way. We were told someone would come to the house the day my dad came home on hospice, no one showed up until we called and requested a visit. My husband died 9 days ago under Vitas Hospice care. When I contacted the funeral home today to pick-up my husband's cremated remains I found out that Vitas has not signed the death certificate yet, the funeral home tried contacting them with not response. With no death certificate my husband has not been cremated and is on hold at the funeral home. This is totally unacceptable. From day 1 Vitas has not provided the promised support.
