The VITAS Care Team took wonderful care of our Mother and our family during a very difficult time. Their compassionate care made difficult decisions easier to bare with understanding. We cannot recommend them highly enough and remain grateful for their help.

Our Hospice aide Harriet, helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life as my mother was dying. She was warm, compassionate, and had a special way of making my mom smile even in such a hard season. Harriet met my mom exactly where she was and gave our family the care, comfort, and support we needed in just the right way, right up until the day my mother passed. I will be eternally grateful for Harriet’s kindness and dedication—and I know my mom was grateful too.

I want to thank all the support Belle & I received from the Mount Dora location, especially those that saw Belle throughout the week. Belle was so happy to see them and welcome them either her big smile. She always looked forward to seeing Harriette Holmes who helped Belle shower and washed her long beautiful hair! Harriette made her so comfortable and relaxed usually braiding her hair, plus before Harriette would leave Belle would make sure she gave her a big hug. Truly thankful for those precious’s times!
