Where to start?? Easily one of the best gyms I've been to all time. It's small, quaint, and has an amazing community. Kristin and co put so much effort into making this an amazing place for everyone who comes into that parking lot. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Workouts are challenging but in a good way. Pre-class icebreakers are not to be missed, and you will find yourself rooting for others you attend class with. The staff know their stuff and will get you right every time. I never felt better than the 2 years I spent at VCF! When my schedule permits I will absolutely be back. Kristin is so dedicated to all of the members and just wants a welcoming space for people with any type of wellness goal. Go VCF!
Never did I ever think I’d find a gym filled with people accepting people for being people that encouraged you to be a better person along the way. Starting each class with an affirmation of how you want to show up in the world and a fun fact is the ice breaker I never knew I needed. No matter your fitness level, you’re welcomed with open arms. I cannot find words to describe just how comfortable I am being pushed to succeed every week. If you don’t have a gym to call home, Vitality Community Fitness is waiting for you!
I started going here through the VCF 101 intro course and have been a member now for a couple of months and love it. Such a great community, quality equipment, and really educated instructors. There’s also a beautiful view of the sunrise most 6am classes :)
Came here for a group workout while in town, was nervous bc I don’t ~exercise~ 🙃but it was a great experience. Coach Kristin brought an amazing energy and kept us upbeat the whole time, even through the sweat! Right at the start of class, she told us not to compare our workouts or progress to anyone else—just give it our all—and honestly that helped me get out of my own head so much. If I lived in NOLA I’d come here. I’ve never been so happy after working out! Crazy! Def recommend
