I have been taking classes for about 9 months now. I really love my salsa and bachata instructors - Jamal, Carolina, Deblin and Adayl are awesome. I have done swing dancing for years but new to Latin dancing so I have taken many classes over the years and I am impressed with their clear instructions, their inclusiveness and friendliness, and they focus on not just dance moves but also musicality and lead/follow tips, and different "shines" that are fun. Had a lovely time here - the instructors are kind, inclusive and good communicators. I also like the diversity of people coming here. I made some new friends (after 40, it is hard to make friends!). They host a lot of community events where they provide a safe environment to practice with more advanced dancers. Teachers show up and dance with you if you want. You get great feedback. I rated a 10 because I absolutely love the energy and community at the studio. The classes are always lively and full, so I never worry about not having someone to dance with. I also really appreciate how you balance the leads and follows by bringing in assistants when needed, it makes such a difference. The instructors are not only fun and entertaining, but they make a very challenging dance feel approachable and enjoyable to learn.
