Very polite and helpful.
The people on the phone are rude. They ALWAYS lose my birth certificate applications and they have no other means of receiving the application besides snail mail. It’s 2025 and they’re still operating like it’s the early 1900’s. Pathetic.
Update, 2/28/25 I received another text from "Charleston Parking" on Dec. 18, six days after receiving the ticket. It stated that my dispute had been closed..."Granting a one time only dismissal of this citation." However, as of today I am still waiting for a refund. It feels good to be exonerated, but apparently I am not getting the $10 fine and $1.25 fee from the Texan contractor running the operation. Pity the fool who only goes to the state website to find this building. Construction ongoing on both sides of the street, you would think the place was being demolished, and no mention of this on the website. The parking meter gave me 15 minutes on my first quarter, added two more but never got additional time. Walked back and forth in front of this building without recognizing it being open. Went back to my car to see it being ticketed, in what couldn't have been more than 15 minutes. Moved and parked in an unmarked "free" ... read more
The workers who are present from 3:30 to 5 cannot help with records changes. They were unhelpful and rude to me. Why are certain functions of the office unavailable while the office is listed as open? Filing a correction should not be difficult.
