They lost my affidavit request then charged me more more to reapply for a birth certificate
I have been dealing with this office for months simply trying to obtain a copy of my birth certificate, and the process has been unbelievably frustrating. The call center is completely unhelpful and offers no meaningful assistance. Even after repeatedly mailing in the requested applications and documents, they claim they have no way to locate or track incoming mail. This place is ridiculous, Missouri is ridiculous, legal documents are ridiculous. First time I come here, I go based on the google times (9AM-4PM), and I get there by 3:30PM. Someone comes out to inform me their Google hours are their PHONE hours…not only that, in person is appointment only. Whatever. I go to county health, they say state never got the paternal affidavit despite having done it and turn it in. I redo it, make my appointment with vital. I'm posting for my mother.She has made several attempts to amend her birth certificate!!! No help whatsoever very unpleasant.. There has to be one professional person working in that office.
I have had the worst experience. How is it that my name is spelled incorrectly on my long form birth certificate. I have sent in the paperwork to have it corrected and they still sent it with my name spelled incorrectly.
