I had such a great experience at Visual Eyes! Dr. Ellender and her team are incredibly detailed and thorough, making sure nothing is overlooked. She is also wonderful with children, which makes appointments so much easier and stress-free. Their glasses selection is fantastic—I just picked up a new pair that I absolutely LOVE and couldn’t be happier with. Highly recommend!

9/5/25 Supervisor called me and had explained to me that she was the only one that knows how to read the insurance part and that employees were new. She was nice and made up for all the negative I had went through. Hope they get more employees crosstrained. :) Not unsure how this place went down hill. The first couple of instances I turned my head. Now I am completely annoyed and upset. First major issue. They had down wrong information on how I paid for copay/contact fitting. I paid $200 and they stated I paid with Visa Car... read more

Previously my appointments were really good. The Dr is very nice and thorough. I was very impressed. Today is another story. I will take my annual $800 contact exam elsewhere. The reason? Yesterday I had a contact flip and I couldn't get it out. I stopped there today for help and she told me she might be able to get me in that afternoon. Or I should go to Urgent Care. Seems to me that as a patient there, and the issue seemed urgent to me, I might get in sooner than 5 hours later....maybe. I guess I need to find a place that ... read more

Not unsure how this place went down hill. The first couple of instances I turned my head. Now I am completely annoyed and upset. First major issue. They had down wrong information on how I paid for copay/contact fitting. I paid $200 and they stated I paid with Visa Card and only $100. When I went to pick up my contacts, (I had informed them I used my insurance prior this year) they stated to me I owed $350 for what I had already paid the $200 amount against. I had the best experience today! Jen took the time to not only make my current prescription glasses fit better but also to make sure I got just what I need going forward. She did it with a smile and heartwarming attitude. She made me feel important and that I MATTER! Dr. Scott Ellender was so great explaining exactly what is going on and I fully understand all components of my prescriptions and the fun issues that come with vision and age :) You guys are awesome!
