The Vistar call center is a problem for me. I leave messages and wait. It would be better if I can talk to the provider here at Smith Mountain Lake. I made my dissatisfaction known about this issue to the call center manager.
Called for an appointment for cataract surgery. Because I had a problem with vista star in salem, I was told they were not affiliated with Salem. They gave me the same procedure as Salem. Next day they said they had my file from Salem and couldn't do the procedure. They are under the same company and lied. I guess I will go out of state to get it done. If my heart doctor doesn't see a problem, well he should know
I have been trying to get my medical records sent to our new location since August 2024 … it’s impeding my care here … I have left numerous messages and never get a return call … when I spoke to a nurse for my Dr. I was told that you had to leave a voicemail and they would contact me or the medical facility that requested my records for me … no response for either case
