This apartment is a joke. Don’t rent from them please. They are just greedy for money. While we moved in they didn’t do any detailed check but while we moved out they checked for a speck too. Moreover, the Zen has been very rude to us , sounded racism tone with us just because we are students. Over charged us on lease term and also hided about the faulty heating system and we fell sick because of that. Worst place with worst management. Recently taken over by zen. Please don't risk renting here. They have shot us with unnecessary charges, burdening us without any justification. I wish someone could help me to help report zen.
I lived in this building for almost 1.5 years. Recently, Zen Residential took over the management. In the end, they deducted $130 from my security deposit for mandatory professional carpet cleaning! They also charged me an extra $50 for a move-out admin fee, which doesn’t make sense to me. Here is their explanation: "A $50.00 tenant Move-out Administrative fee applies to all tenant move-outs and will be reflected on their statement of accounts.
