I had one of the best clinical practice experiences at Vista Manor in San Jose. From the very beginning, the environment was welcoming, professional, and supportive for students. I want to especially recognize Nurse Yanira, who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to teach. She took the time to explain procedures, answer questions, and made sure I felt confident and included throughout my experience. I had the opportunity to spend time at Vista Manor and was honestly so impressed with the whole team and the environment. Everyone I interacted with was professional, personable, and clearly passionate about giving the best care. The atmosphere was super welcoming and supportive, and it’s really clear that residents are treated with compassionate care. My mom was brought in to Vista Manor from Stanford without her personal belongings. Jessica was right in it calling the nurses station my mom at, at Stanford. The nursing staff told Jessica that it wasn’t there so Jessica called the transport company that brought my mom to Vista Manor. They also told Jessica it was in the ambulance she was in. I appreciate how Jessica didn’t hesitate to try to help my mom and me. She also answered some questions I had regarding my mom’s medications. The belongings were still at Stanford, mom... read more

Vista Manor is truly a wonderful care center that provides residents with excellent treatment and care. My grandma's experience here was very pleasant even after a complicated surgery, all thanks to the support of the nurses and other staff. The center itself is very clean and well-managed, particularly thanks to Jerome, the Director of Nursing. I just want to give a big thank you to Luis Lopez for taking such great care of my grandma. He’s always kind, patient, and really goes out of his way to make her feel comfortable.
