Despite how old the building is, they are very quick with fixing elevator and AC and other appliances. If they see a guest that visit more than once, they'll start suspicion that you're living with additional person and start trying to claim you need to pay for additional parking slot. Especially with Kayla, she was an angel at first but only during your moving-in periods.

Lengthy but hopefully encompasses everything I’ve experienced here at Vista. Firstly, don’t sign here unless you want convenience of being close to KU Medical Center and that is the sole factor you care about. It’s almost as if they leverage the tight schedules of students at KU to their advantage, so that they can never meet our needs and ghost us despite 1) constantly emailing and 2) showing up to their office. For the amount of money they are requesting, you would think the owners would have hot water available for the tenants, but most days of the week, you will either be left without the opportunity to shower, so you either don't shower, shower at a friends house/gym, or get a bucket and shower that way. Its so bad that I am left praying profusely to the water gods that hot water will be available when I wake up. Stacy (the new manager) is amazing! She is super friendly and it was always easy to just walk into her office if I ever needed anything. The maintenance man is also super nice and very knowledgeable when it came to fixing problems. I lived there for 2 years while I went to KUMC and the location was perfect. Vicky who works at the front desk is an absolute angel and I loved having a front desk where I could address any questions I had. Stacy the current manager is extremely rude, and seems like she purposely tries to screw you over depending on what type of unit you are interested in. The lack of follow up is really appalling, and when you follow up yourself with multiple emails and phone calls after days, she says "this is just how this building is" without ever addressing your specific question or request for info.
