So fascinating!! Everyone should go here at least once! One of the very knowledgeable electricians gave us our tour and it was definitely worth it!
Interesting history of the dam. Lots of cool exhibits with taxidermy animals.
Excellent guided tour of the dam with a very knowledgeable docent, there are several tour times each day starting at 10am. I believe only the ones on the weekend get to see the powerhouse, the weekdays tour get to walk across the dam and go into the exhibit tower in the middle. Very nice views from the top. A relaxing activity that takes about an hour.
This was a beautiful spot with so many places along the road to stop and enjoy the scenery.
