If it's time to get your eyes checked for a new pair of glasses, look no further than Visionworks located at Poyner Anchor Lane in Raleigh NC. Dr. Hood is an excellent optometrist. I went there for new eyeglasses and while giving me a thorough exam he discovered that I had a degenerative eye disease. He not only referred me to a great opthamologist, but also made the appointment for me which allowed me to be seen earlier. I scheduled an appointment with VisionWorks two weeks in advance. In the days leading up to it, I was contacted multiple times to confirm — which I completely understand given the likelihood of no-shows. However, just nine minutes before my scheduled time, I received a voicemail stating my appointment was cancelled because there was no doctor.
