Coupon Sometime ago, I had my glasses upgraded. I selected the plan whereby for about $50 more, I could get another pair of classes. I do not remember there being a time limit (by either them telling me, or having it written anywhere), but when my wife went in, they told her there was a 30 day period limit,and that the coupon? had expired. I will not be going there again, nor will I recommend Visionworks.
Won't be back Terrible customer service. My husband and I ordered glasses at the exact same time. I got mine in a week. However, my husbands did not come in. They claimed it was due to higher prescription. They supposedly red flagged it and called, etc. Now it's been over 3 weeks and they still are not here. I have been told 6 times through this entire process that I would be called back. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY DO NOT GO TO DR BIZERS ON BRECKINRIDGE! HORRIBLE customer service. I thought I'd go here because of all the advertising they do for the bundled deals they give. Yeah, they give a deal upfront, but it ends up a waste of money if the glasses don't fit you perfectly from the start (which would probably never be the case). 1st time contacts My son got new contacts and the staff was great! She was patient and made sure he knew exactly what to do and wouldn't let him leave with the contacts until she was positive that he could do it well himself! I have to make an appointment again as he seems to have developed dry eyes which make the contacts burn so....we'll see if the helpfulness continues.
B.A.D. Customer Service I have been coming to VisionWorks @ the Arboritum for many years just for convenience and my insurance works there. I have *NOT* been happy with this store. I have been waiting for one box of contacts for OVER 10 days now! Thankfully, my eye doctor (who is right next door) gave me a few "samples" to get me thru. There is a woman who works there that has been there for a long time who needs a new lesson in Customer Service......THAT IS FOR SURE!!
Mayfair Mall Location is Horrible! Stay Away! Customer service does not exist at Stein Optical - Mayfair Mall location. They openly engage in deceptive and false advertising. When I walked into the store, not one employee greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. I had to basically stalk and hunt down a sales associate to open the designer frame case. Pretty good place This is a decent place to get in and our for glasses or contacts. They have flexible appointments and usually have good deals. I wouldn't say the service is that great. It has the feel of a chain store, but then again, I'm not one who cares about having a relationship with my eye doctor. They get the job done and it's a good price.
Bait and Switch Went in because of the 2 for $149 no-line bifocals. Got the exam and picked out frames and was told that they would cost more than double the special because the frames just outside the allowable measurement for no-line bifocals. And, these were just about the only frames at the allowable "under $70" included in the special! The only exceptions in the ad were special coatings and special lenses. M Recently, I went to the Stein Optical recently on 27th and Morgan in Milwaukee, WI to purchase 2 pairs of glasses. I was promptly greeted by a group of super friendly and courteous staff who were all anxious to help me. Mary first helped me with selecting the cutest frames and the lenses for me. I love that the BOGO sale that was running at that time got me the non-glare feature free on the 2nd pair too!
