Got transition lenses and the coating peeled off after 2 months. Tried calling store, corporate customer service, online chat, and email. No one could help me. None telephones being answered. Out $440 for defective glasses and have to spend another $400 somewhere else to get new glasses.
RecommendedI have a “high prescription” and went in in hopes of being able to get something, anything at all. I was pleasantly surprised when the woman I first encountered took my prescription to the computer, looked it up and told me, yes!, with a specific lease type. Another staff member was on her way out (coat on, keys in hand) and she stopped to give some advice :). The woman then proceeded to pick out frame upon frame for me. Great Place to get an eye exam and glasses. They accept FSA and HSA accounts. They have 40% off one pair of glasses or BOGO free second pair. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

I have been wearing glasses for 49 years so I know alot about fit, size, PD and the quality I receive. I have such a difficult time with fit as I have a petite face and a very small bridge. I am also extremely sensitive to any changes in my prescription. I found some amazing frames I love at great prices! I ordered a cute pair and when I put them on my head I could see so clearly and they were very comfortable right from the start. I was disappointed. The new HD digital progressive lenses are supposed to offer wider near field vision and their sales chart shows diagrams of how much bigger. So I paid the extra $45 to get them and they were only as good as my Walmart lenses that would have cost about $60 less. I compared my old Walmart lenses to the new VW lenses and they were the same field of view. I'm not sure that it may only be a marketing/sales effort.
