Purchased two pair of glasses in July 2017. So far, the left lens has fallen out of the black framed glasses twice...I recovered the lens, brought it in and they 'fixed' things. In Shop-rite today, went to put my glasses which were attached to a neck chain and resting on my chest. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the RIGHT lens had fallen off somewhere in the store. 11/5/16 I ordered two pair of glasses at Visionworks, 2060 Market Drive, Stillwater, MN 55082. I requested that the lens material used be the same as the glasses that I had ordered from Visionworks on October 14, 2013 and on May 7, 2015. Jennifer, a Visionworks associate, placed the order for me. 11/16/16 I picked up my order and started to wear my new glasses. Dont go here. They have very dirty, hairy, unhygienic workers there. I think overall Visionworks has good deals, but this location has a woman that is really very scary. When I say scary, i really mean it. She has scars that cover half her face. I think it is a she ( Karen or Kathy is what her nametag said). Have you ever seen scarface? That is her. Do not waste your time at this location. I paid for color lenses about $89.00 then they ordered a different prescription, which I realized when I got home. Honest mistake so I called back, but the person I dealt with had the worst customer service. She even asked me, "at least you can see, right?" " so what's the big deal if it's a little different." This is my first negative review ever. I've always been one to offer praise and accolades for a job well done. However, this situation was handled so poorly that I had to speak out. This store LOST my daughters $600.00 duplicate glasses that were supposed to be overnighted to another location only 2 1/2 hours away. They also neglected to take a record of the tracking number so they can't even be located. She is away at college attending summer classes and needed a replacement for the glasses she had purchased from them just ... read more

So after looking at reviews from 7 years ago and to see that they are still giving poor customer service. Even with an appt I had a lengthy wait, and sad but true still waiting on my glasses 5 days after the day I was told they'll be ready. The lab manager is off really what happened to priorities. I've paid good money for poor service I will not be doing business with them anymore nor will I recommend their services to anyone.I wish I would have looked at the reviews before wasting my time and money.

The customer service is horrible. I was 10 minutes late and was told the dr was packing up and since I was late she won't see me. This boy did not even ask if they could take a quick look as I did not need a full eye exam simply someone to look at my irritated eyes that weren't getting better. Thanks to that boy I will not be going to any visionworks and will recommend the same to ALL of my friends!

Terrible place! they lost my file, called and cancelled my appointment the night before because the doctor was going out of town, refused to give me another trial pair of contacts when mine ripped and I couldn't order more since they wouldn't give me my prescription until my follow-up, which they canceled on! I will never return to them ever again!
