I came in to get my vision exam as a new patient. I had my two year old son with me, who sat quietly the entire time. After my brief 5 minute exam, Dr. Friefeld brought my prescription to the front desk and told the worker, while chuckling, “Here’s her prescription, I think that kid is special needs or something.” The worker laughed loudly and replied “Hey, you said it, not me.” I don’t know if they thought I wouldn’t hear them inside of the dead silent and empty office but I found this extremely unprofessional. Dr. Steven Friefeld is a very caring eye doctor. He carefully does the eye exam in determining your prescription. You never feel that he is rushing you but puts you at ease. I strongly recommend Dr. Friefeld for eye exam and you will be glad to have your eyes checked at Visioncare in Coral Springs, FL.

I could tell the Dr. has been doing this for a long time. He was friendly and was very helpful with my current vision situation. He did seem a bit in a rush. The exam took maybe 10 minutes. He dictated his recommendations for me in a recorder, but I didn't receive the information. He did suggest dry eye ointment brand but I could not remember which one it was. I am afraid of taking any since there has been many recalls. They have a good selection of frames, with reasonable prices. Hope the prescription works.
